Thinking about taking a pottery lesson with a friend? You might want to book a 2-1 session. This two-hour private pottery session, held in my garden studio in Culford, Suffolk, and is tailored to your needs, potentially including both hand-building and wheel throwing techniques. The session is designed to cater to both absolute beginners and those with some experience. It is always rewarding to complete your own creations. Hence, you’ll be invited back to glaze your pieces a few weeks later once they have thoroughly dried and undergone their initial firing. This will be an extra one-hour session. We’ll schedule this appointment on the day of your pottery making lesson, so please bring your diary. Alternatively, I can glaze the items in your preferred colour. You will need to pick up your work, or if you require it shipped, there will be a shipping fee due at the time of your lesson. Making session is 2 hours and glazing session is 1 hour (to be taken once items have had their first firing). Terms & Conditions Cancellation of a booking by the customer Bookings are subject to the following cancellation policy: If for some reason you are no longer able to attend your lesson, please get in touch as soon as possible. More than 14 days’ notice Full refund (£10 admin fee charged) or free re-booking. 14 days or less notice 50% refund (£10 admin fee charged) or 50% discount on a new booking. If your lesson is 7 days or less away, then I'm afraid I cannot offer a refund. Cancellation of a booking by baked stone pottery -In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your session I will give you as much notice as possible. Customers will either be transferred to another session within a reasonable period of time or offered a full refund. While I know lives are busy and complicated, and sometimes things beyond your control happen, may I gently remind you that, as a small studio, last minute cancellations or requests to swap sessions very much affect me –– as I always strive to hold small and intimate classes that offer you as much 1:1 attention as possible. As much as I would love to, I unfortunately cannot offer exceptions to my booking policy and are so grateful for your understanding and you not pressuring me to do so.
